As a dancer and regular gym-goer, I was drawn to yoga for the physical benefits. I quickly discovered that movement is only a tiny part of the practice of yoga, and as I started to take my yoga off the mat, it changed my life in unexpected ways.

I share this practice because I care deeply about people. I believe yoga has something to offer everyone, and we all deserve a little more joy, connection, and compassion in our lives.

I will always teach as me, and invite you to join as you, exactly are you are.

My classes are dynamic, energising and playful. I invite you to explore moving with curiosity, with space for reflection and introspection, guided always by the breath.

Practicing yoga informs my life beyond the mat. ‘Yoga’ literally translates ‘to yoke’, meaning to bring together, or union. I am passionate about creating spaces where we can find connection, grow community, and share in the magic of this practice together.

my offerings

  • A fluid, dynamic class that flows through sun salutations, standing and seated postures. Expect fun and creative sequences, finding the balance between strength and softness as we move and breathe as one.

  • An energising, uplifting style of yoga with a bit of fire. Be prepared to sweat as we move through this playful and dynamic sequence, with the option to try out inversions, hands-on assists and a great playlist.

  • Dynamic yoga practised to music - by syncing our breath and movement to the beat, we can access a powerful meditative state that strengthens the mind and balances the nervous system. Expect to fly!

  • A soft, nourishing practice combining gentle movement and moments of stillness. I will support you to relax and drop into your body as we take the time to find space and openness, cultivating a sense of calm and balance.

  • A practice of stillness. By holding postures for several minutes at a time, yin yoga targets the deeper layers of our body, both physical and energetic. I invite you to go inwards, observe the sensations, and go on your own journey into the practice.

  • Ella has created a wonderful and welcoming yoga community. I’ve been practicing yoga for years, and Ella’s class is the first one I’ve found I get really excited about. I leave feeling centred and energised, a fine balance that fixes me up on a Tuesday morning to get through the rest of the week. It’s familiar but with enough variety each session - so much so, I’ve been going every week for nearly a full year now, and I love the Saturday yoga club too.
