my story
Movement has always been a big part of my life. From ballet dancing to strength training, for as long as I can remember I’ve always loved exploring different ways of moving my body, and how good it makes me feel.
I fell in love with yoga - in particular Rocket yoga - while training as a corporate lawyer in London. Diving straight out of uni and into city life, I found myself absorbed in a world that was fast-paced, dynamic and adrenaline-fuelled. My yoga mat became my happy place - a space to come to when I needed to move, breathe, get out of my head and into my body.
Practicing yoga started to change my life - small, subtle shifts at first - and then eventually in a much bigger way.
Curious, and eager to learn more, I completed my teacher training in 2022 with Katarina Rayburn and Helen Russell-Clark. As I dived deeper into the practice, it unexpectedly shifted my life off the mat in a new direction. In 2023, I took the plunge out of the corporate world into a new career as a yoga teacher.
My classes are playful, balanced and energising. Through focus on breath and awareness of the self, I invite you to go inwards and explore what takes place beyond the physical poses. Expect intelligent sequences, concise instructions, and a carefully curated playlist to help you drop into the moving meditation.
I believe yoga is for everyone. It is a huge privilege to be both a teacher and student of this ancient practice, and I am committed to continuous learning and sharing my knowledge of yoga and its origins with inclusivity and respect.
I want to share a piece of this magic with you.
